沖縄の有識者らで作る「沖縄大好き検定委員会」は、沖縄でも10月からご当地検定を実施すると発表しました。
名前は「沖縄大好き検定」で、7月に全国の主要書店で公式問題集を発売し、10月に東京、大阪、沖縄の3会場で初回試験を行います。
“We Love Okinawa Certification Committee” made up of Okinawa intellectuals announced starting Gotohchi-kentei (native test = regional knowledge examination) of Okinawa too starting October.
It will be called “We Love Okinawa Certification” and its official workbook will be sold in major bookstores nationwide starting July. The first exam will take place in October at three locations: Tokyo, Osaka and Okinawa.

わぁー・・・。いや、でも僕も沖縄好きなんですけどもね、そういうのはたぶん無理ですね。あの(笑)、歴史だったり文化だったりね、まぁ興味はありますけどもね。ええ。勉強すればね、やってみたいですけどもね。
Wow…..  Well, I am an Okinawa fan myself, but I am not apt for such things. See (laughs) history, culture and such, well I am interested though. Yes. If I get to study, I might want to try.

いや、でもホントきれいですよね、沖縄ちゃんは。うん。ホントにね、沖縄に友達がいるんですけどね、久々にね、メールのやり取りをしていてですね、沖縄の知り合いが「こっちの夕日はハンパなくきれいだぜ」みたいなね。「ああ、そうですか」みたいな。「そちらの海の色はエメラルドグリーンですか？」みたいに送ったら、「エメラルドグリーンでーす♪」と写真を送ってきたりね。「ああ、行きたい・・・」みたいなね、感じ（のメール）をこの間やりましてね。
またね、落ち着いたらワタクシはゆっくりと沖縄の方に行きたいと思います！

Say, but it really is beautiful, isn't it, Okinawa-chan is. Yeah. Seriously, I have a friend in Okinawa. Recently, we corresponded by mail for the first time in a while, and my friend went “The sunset here is positively gorgeous.” I was like “good for you.” I replied “Is the ocean there emerald green?” and received a picture with “It IS emerald green ♪” I was like “Ah, wish I was there….” So we exchanged mails like that the other day.
When things calm down, I would like to make a leisurely trip to Okinawa again!
