2008.03.25. Arashi Discovery <Pink Dinosaurs>

日本や世界で初公開の化石60点以上を公開する恐竜展「世界最新！よみがえる恐竜大陸」が幕張メッセで始まっております。
世界最大のイグアナドン、ランジョウサウルスの頭の骨など、200点以上の化石標本が展示されているということです。
A dinosaur exhibition, “The World’s Latest! Dinosaur Land Returns” opened in Makuhari Messe. It displays over 60 pieces of fossils premiering in Japan and the world.
There are over 200 fossil samples including the skull of the world’s largest Iguanodon, Ranjousaurus (sp?). 

うわー、いいですね。恐竜って聞くとワクワクしますよね。
僕も恐竜とか興味あるんです。よくやっぱね、フィギアとかでね、恐竜とかいっぱいあるじゃないですか。だからね、ちっちゃい時、小学校かな？小学校6年くらいの時に恐竜を粘土でちょっと作ろうかなと思って。その時は紙粘土でちょっと試したんですけどね。まぁ下手くそすぎてね、ちょっと1回諦めた記憶がありますね。ええ。
Wow, cool, isn’t it. I get excited when I hear about dinosaurs, don’t you.
I too am interested in dinosaurs and such. After all, dinosaur figurines and stuff are popular, you know. So when I was little, maybe in elementary school, when I was around in sixth grade, I thought of making dinosaurs with clay. Back then I tried it a bit with air-dry clay. Well, it turned out horrible, so I have a memory of once giving it up. Yes.

でもね、好きなんでしょうね。うん。やっぱり、そういう作る物がね。だからね、あれ以来、恐竜はやってないんですよ。作ってないです。ちょっと、そういうのもね、やってみようかなと思ってますよ。うん。楽しそうじゃないですか、そういうのね。色塗ってね。
But, I still seem to be interested. Yeah. You know, in making stuff like that. So, I haven’t done dinosaurs since then. I haven’t. Say, things like that, I’ve been thinking about trying again. Yeah. It sounds fun, doesn't it, things like that. I’ll color them too.

そう、だから色だって、あれは定かじゃないですからね。ええ。ホントはピンク色、真っピンクとかね。色は分からないじゃないですか、形は読み取れたとしても。色までは分からない。だから、もしかしたらああいう恐竜の色じゃないかも分からない。もしかしたら全身ピンクかも分からない。ねっ。

See, so even the colors of them, we don’t know for sure. Yes. In real life, they might have been pink, could have been deep pink. We can’t know their colors, can we? although we’ve figured their shapes. We can’t figure out the colors. So, they might have been different from our stereotypical dinosaur colors. They might have been top to bottom in pink. Ne.
